There is no doubt that fashion is political. What you wear makes a statement. It can say, "I shop here," signifying support for a certain brand or store. It can be a femisnist statement, "I may not look like a man, but I can do anything I damn well want." It can say "Make love, not war." People have been wearing activist "Che Guevara" t-shirts for years, and most recently folks wear their Anti-Bush shirts in protest.
We sit down with California fashion designer Antonio Miccolis. To interview him about the new trend of celebrities taking their political statements public and to introduce the new line: ba-RackStar T-Shirts.

It seems like people are wearing their hearts on their chest of late and making a statement with it. This is true especially in the case of a few celebrities in conjunction with the upcoming presidential elections.
Here is a snap of Halle Berry showing support for the Democrat Sen. Barack Obama, spotted whilst out shopping. Halle sure isn't shy about showing who she supports in the 2008 presidential election. The actress was , wearing an ''Girls for Obama" long sleeve tee.
